LSU dominated the game from start to finish and it was alley Broussard’s coming out game. The defense shut down auburn’s offense and it was a fun night! It was also the goat espn crew in the call.

Broussard and Vincent emerged on the road against South Carolina that year if memory serves me

Greatest LSU team and season In my lifetime. Such a complete team, arguably the most dominating defense coupled with one of our best and most balanced offenses as well as an elite special teams unit. They made so many good teams and players look bad, monkey stomped that Auburn team who went 14-0 with basically the same exact roster the next season, smacked a favored and loaded UGA team twice, took down the great Oklahoma team that the experts were calling the GOAT during the season, beat 7 NFL QBs, 2 record setting QBs, a Heisman trophy winner plus a 2x super bowl champion and hall of famer. Can’t believe it’s been 15+ years, seems like yesterday.

That D line was something to watch. We get back to that level of talent and the playoffs will be the norm

Chad's sack on fourth down was awesome.

Was at that game. I was 9 years old. I had a football game in Bossier that morning and I think the LSU game was supposed to get kicked off by 2:30 but it rained buckets down there that morning and it got moved to night time.

Dad was driving like a madman down 190 to get to the game, we parked and walked in just in time to catch opening kickoff. That’s was a very fun ballgame.

(Fingers crossed the rain pushes kick time back again tomorrow)

The 31-7 loss the year before this game was miserable and devastating

This is one of my favorite wins

I was at this game. That 4th down stop in the 1st quarter was beautiful.

My favorite part was shutting down the hyped “Cadillac” Williams. The Florida game was a disappointment but we knew we were back on track after Auburn.

I loved this game. Held Brown and Cadillac under 35 yards rushing combined!

I was also wearing my custom made, “Tuberville loves boys” t-shirt.

I was at that one and that was my biggest memory. How loud it got when Chad blew them up on the 4th down play.

Interesting moment at the 6:50 mark.Adrian has a board and it shows 117 db for the loudness. They would show the sound meter on the big screen during the Florida game a couple of weeks ago. It was only getting up to 104, 105. Does this prove Tiger Stadium is not as loud as it used to be? Does it only prove the meters were in different spots?

Agreed! That team would have beaten the doors off the ‘07 team and won comfortably against the ‘11 team.
