So we beat Tualess Bama, then get him in the BCSNCG again in January

If bama loses this game, and LSU, Oklahoma, Ohio st, and Clemson are undefeated, Bama doesn’t get in.... their schedule is absolutely horrible

I just hope we can beat Tua-less Bama. Tenn had a legit shot of hanging with them and the zebras kept that from happening.
I think our defense is getting a little better...but sheesh...they make every team look like the Patriots.

No...if for no other reason than there is no longer a BCS. I really believe that if Bama somehow gets in without winning the SEC and some other conference champ with the same or better record gets left out, we'd have a huge uproar, and rightly so.

If we beat Auburn this Saturday, I think we will punch our ticket to the playoffs even if we were to lose to Bama in 3 weeks...
...a game Tua will definitely be playing in.
Look at the AP Poll. There will be at the most (3) undefeated teams easily worthy for playoff consideration. #4 would depend on who has the best resume at one loss. It would easily be LSU after beating the #8, #7, and the #9 team in the country

These bastards are so stupid. If we don’t want Alabama to make the playoff (assuming we beat them), we want undefeated conference champs from 3 other conferences.
If we plan on losing to Alabama then the combination of necessary losses is a lot more hairy.

Texas beating Oklahoma was the better scenario for LSU to get in even with a loss to Alabama, and Oklahoma beating Texas was the better scenario for Alabama to not get in with a loss to LSU. This isn’t rocket surgery here.

Good chance the loser of the Bama vs LSU game will be left out of the playoff.
OU, Clemson, and Ohio State will probably all win out. Ohio State has the toughest road but I think they are the best team in the big 10.

The only way a one loss non-SEC champ Bama gets in is if the Big10 champ has a loss.

The only team I don't want us to play is Ohio St. Much rather player Bama twice, then have to face the Buckeyes in the playoffs.
