Spanos is one of the worst owners in sports, but San Diego is also to blame. That stadium there is a dump and they refuse to build a new one.

Billionaire owners should build their own stadiums and not rely on government handouts

But the city of SD isn’t to blame, the residents are for voting down the hotel tax which would have funded the city’s funding of the stadium.

It would have been a deal like the Raiders got with Vegas

Would Jerry Jones allow them to go to San Antonio?

Nope, he squashed all the talks a few years ago when they were thinking about sending the Saints to San Antonio. Never got off the ground really because of Jerry.

San Antonio is a dumpster fire of a city due to the low income base, sanctuary status, etc. There is no income in the town to support an NFL Franchise.

And there is no space unless its outside 1604 to build a stadium. The Alamo Dome is a shite hole and even if you were to tear it down and replace it, its still way too tight downtown...90% of the attendees would have to Uber in.

Move them to Atlanta because that city needs an NFL team.

What else does Los Angeles have to do to prove to the NFL that they don’t give a crap about football. The 49ers has a home game at the Rams today too.

They're playing this season in a midsize Texas high school like stadium.
And this stadium is for soccer.
NFL should have standards, but they allow this shite, plus Oakland playing on a baseball field and dirt

Rams have been getting good crowds and support. 49ers always had big crowds in LA dating back to the Anaheim days.

To say the Rams aren’t getting good support isn’t true.

u r correct. lots of USC bandwagoners when they were good.

nobody is doubting laker and dodger support.

but it sucks as a football town especially NFL for decades. there is a reason the second biggest city in the USA lost two NFL teams and did not have any teams for years and years. not a good look

I’ve been wanting the Rams back in LA for a long time. I always assumed the Raiders were going to be the team that moved back.

Rams moving back before them makes sense in that the Rams were LA’s first team. While we never had the support of the Raiders there was and is still good support

Chargers just made no sense.

Would have been better for the Chargers to move to Vegas and Raiders to LA with the Rams if all 3 had to move

They can't even paint the fricking field. It's pathetic. Serious question, are the Rams a top 5 most popular NFL team in the LA market? Are the Chargers even top 10?

Honestly. I’d put
1 Raiders
2. 49ers

3. Rams
4. Cowboys
5. Packers

I’d put Cowboys/Rams/Packers pretty even

Kings and Ducks have great support as well. Fans are total assholes, but they have many total assholes in the stands and have a pretty decent following nationwide thanks to the movies for the Ducks and that Gretzky fella as well as the bandwagoners during their Cup years.

All you guys suggesting Raiders shouldve went back to LA, are wrong.

Sure, they had a successful stint there, back when LA and Cali were a much different place.

Sure, they are still wildly popular with many LA residents, especially since the city went so long without a franchise.

But, ask most lifelong Raider fans like myself, (probably UltimateHog?), etc..they would much prefer LV over Cali politics and Oakland/NoCal facility difficulties.

I loved LA in the 1980s and early 1990s, but not today.

Las Vegas residents and traveling Raidernation(including Oak & LA diehards) will weekend warrior into Vegas along with the rest of it's fanbase..

Davis Jr easily made the right call!
