How are y'all voting on the amendments?

Sure, but giving exemptions for section 8 in NOLA is a goddamn disaster waiting to happen.

Amendment 3 is supposed to make it easier and quicker to attempt to resolve tax disputes with the state. And, if you're unhappy with the board's decision you can still appeal it to a court.

I suppose it could save the taxpayer from having to hire an attorney by having the board decide it.

And which politician appoints the people on the "board"? Is it JBE or whoever is governor?

The governor appoints, but the qualifications to serve on the tax board are really strict, as much, if not more so, than an administrative law judge. It’s not like the governor can really stack the court with cronies.
