I don’t think Marte is very much better value than Nimmo right now. Rather roll with the position players we have. I’d be willing to part with Dom Smith since he’s blocked at 1B but it’d have to be good

During an appearance on NBC Sports Chicago’s David Kaplan’s “Kap and Co." Wednesday, ESPN’s Jesse Rogers reported the Cubs and Rockies have discussed a one-for-one deal involving Bryant and Colorado third baseman Nolan Arenado. Rogers added Colorado would pick up salary in such a deal.

Really don't want to trade Bryant, but this I can get behind.

I read another thing that said another potential deal forArenado could include both Bryant and Contreras. Screw that noise.

Talk about a step back unless it includes more young players

Yeah, no thanks. The Rockies screwed their leverage the second Arenado basically said he hates them now.

It’s interesting the Dodgers could of signed Harper a year ago without having to trade anything. But now would have to trade quite a bit just a year later to get Betts.

Yes, in every way

Dodgers could give up plenty, and still benefit greatly from a deal involving Betts

On MLB Network Rosenthal says chances of a trade are higher now than they have ever been, Dodgers are serious. Padres are also serious and pushing hard.

And they don’t have to commit $300 million dollars this way.

Why would rockies trade Nolan for Bryant, and eat cash???

Nolan>>>>>>Bryant in every aspect of the game that people care about.

The Reds are just saying frick you to the cubs at this point.

Thanks for the championship 4 years ago, Tom Ricketts. It's alright, we don't want to ever win again.
