Ja’Marr Chase once committed to Kansas. Les Miles wasn’t sold on bringing in Chase as a WR at LSU. Chase is thriving at LSU. Miles is in Kansas. One of many twists that’s helped make Chase one of the nation’s top WRs

I guess an explosive play making wide receiver had no place in Miles offense.

Yea, OBJ and Juice were the only kind of bums Les could get.

His offense was horribly antiquated but he recruited plenty of explosive WR, he just didn’t use them very well

That said Saban wanted Vince Young as a WR, no one bats 1.000

That's true...I remember when he made OBJ a DB.

Jarvis Landry was one of the best safety's we ever had.

Also wanted Brandon Jacobs to play LB. Wanted Reggie McNeal to play WR. And right...no one mentions that shite at all.

If Chase committed to it he probably would have been a great DB so I don’t see the problem.

They decided to move Mo Claiborne to db and that worked out.

Boy Leslie made some boneheaded recruiting mistakes his last year. Chase wasn’t good enough and he didn’t think Etienne warranted an offer. Glad he’s gone.

Chase didn't want to play DB, Les didn't offer and he'd probably be playing WR for Florida on Saturday if Les had it his way.

It's one thing if a guy is open to making the change. Its another if he's totally opposed to it to the point that the idea runs him off.

Coach O wanted Christian Harris to play H back. He went to Alabama because O didn't have a clue and Saban has him starting at LB.

Not sure where you got that because the RB discussed Harris quite a bit and it looked like it was Aranda that didn't think he would be a great LB and he had targets he preferred. Considering Aranda is the DC/LB coach I would say it was likely his call.

Les is no doubt a real life Forrest Gump. Dude is a maroon and yet a millionaire. Good for him and good for us that he is gone before he did anymore damage to the program.

Been telling Tigerdroppings this for 3 years lol.

By the time les miles left LSU he had completely ruined the WR position (among other positions) that was once so great.
