Or that the parents agreed like in my case to coparent and have equal visitation. It’s actually worked out pretty well for everybody

I actually know a couple of guys whose ex allowed teenage kids to make their own decision to live with the dad and he continued to pay her child support just to keep the peace for those last few years. Sometimes that's worth more than money.

Most of the guys or girls I know who've divorced did joint custody and the majority of them don't even do child support. I have 2 friends (males) who receive child support from their ex. One ex was not necessarily a druggy or known to be one, even according to him, but had a drinking problem. The other works a crazy schedule and she agreed for him to have full custody.
