We will destroy Jones if he comes in. Just trap/contain him in the pocket and make him throw on our DBs and he'll fail.

I’m not either. If he’s healthy enough, I think Trask plays as long as it’s close, but I think we’ll end up seeing a lot of Jones and Mullen knows it.

In a game like this it behooves you to keep the opposing teams defense guessing as much as possible!

Chaisson is going to kill Kyle Trask. Like, literally kill him.

I agree, but because Trask probably won't be able to finish. Trask is a rookie, but at least he's a little older, and the atmosphere and pressure will have an effect.

Emory Jones is not likely to have much success as a freshman. See bo Nix in the swamp.

Seriously, how much can they run a 3rd string QB and risk injury? Do they have a 4th?
Then they become completely one dimensional if it is an emergency QB situation.
Will be interesting to watch the 24/7 show to see how they strategize with the injury.

Dan Mullen isn’t a fool

Up by double digits late in the 4th quarter, Mullen sequentially ran a QB throwback and a QB draw to his backup QB who was wearing a knee brace because he sprained an MCL earlier in the game.

And people wonder why Mullen can’t keep QB’s healthy.

Trask will start but Jones will get early playing time to get acclimated. Trask is a serviceable runner too but it seems he'd rather stand in the pocket for 8 seconds instead of taking off. He missed several runs against Auburn before the injury.

Ohio State went all-out to sign Jones. Caused quite an uproar when he decommitted. He was the #2 dual threat QB nationally at the time.

Similar to our reactions from a de-commitment or transfer?

Trask will start but yeah Emory Jones will be a significant part of Mullen's gameplan IMO.

Eh, he's not a true freshman like Nix. He played in 4 games last season then redshirted.

I thought this was about our offense running wildcat.
