Reasonable humans admit that it appears that Trump was using his authority to benefit his 2020 reelection campaign.
If you’re saying just, ethical, and proper behavior is aligned with trumps campaign interest, sounds like he’s the man for the job.
But I have a question for you, given how much we know trump (and every other decent person) loathes everything to do with the Obama administration, are you claiming trump would have behaved differently if Biden wasn’t running.
If you are, I have another question about your definition of reasonable.

So, one person can decide for the entire house and that one side can block out the other side? I am no constitutional scholar, but I doubt that is correct.
Mitch routinely makes decisions affecting the entire Senate.

Reasonable humans saw the whole Russian farce.
Reasonable humans saw the whole IRS targeting conservatives.
Reasonable humans see Schiff for a scum bag that he is.
It goes on and on
You never objectively point out the other side. You are a partisan hypocrite.

Until the House votes for a formal investigation of this matter, everyone should tell them to pound sand

trump landslide incoming.

Trump's response:
He's trying to force them into a vote so Republicans can bring witnesses forth and ask questions instead of this one-sided farce we're being presented.
quote:
“I would love to send Ambassador Sondland, a really good man and great American, to testify, but unfortunately he would be testifying before a totally compromised kangaroo court, where Republican’s rights have been taken away, and true facts are not allowed out for the public to see,” Trump wrote in a series of tweets Tuesday morning.
He's trying to force them into a vote so Republicans can bring witnesses forth and ask questions instead of this one-sided farce we're being presented.

He does not try to take the position that his singular word is the equivalent of the affirmative action of the Committee of the Whole (which is what Nancy's done).
He can control what comes for a vote as Majority Leader, but he cannot by fiat declare legislation has the votes and the effect of law.

Why would you or they even concern yourself with actual testimony if circumstantial evidence, anonymous secondhand accounts, and mere speculation are plenty enough? The conclusions have already been asserted, in case you haven't been paying attention. Just get on with it already.

The final conclusions have already been asserted by Democrats. No further testimony necessary. Get on with impeachment already.

Harry Reid is responsible for that caveat.

And what remedy does he have if the subpoenas are ignored, as they should be, because they are coming forth from a farce of in investigation?

A corollary to the power invested in the Committees to investigate possible wrongdoing, either on the basis of impeachment, another power, or some combination of powers, is 3 the power to issue subpoenas and to hold hearings on whether to hold witnesses defying subpoenas should be held in contempt of Congress. By their nature, legislative subpoenas have the force of law. In United States v. Nixon, 418 U.S. 683 (1974), the Court unanimously directed President Nixon to comply with a judicial subpoena ordering him to turn over taped conversations in the White House to defendants charged with breaking into the Watergate Hotel. Not long thereafter, the House Judiciary Committee approved an article of impeachment against Nixon based on his refusal to comply with a legislative subpoena. Refusals to comply with duly authorized subpoenas (which are made pursuant to the House’s internal rules of governance) show contempt for the rule of law and the legitimate authority of Congress. Attorneys on behalf of the House or this Committee may seek enforcement of these subpoenas in court; if committees were barred by the Constitution to do that, then the President would be “above the law.

Well it will have to be taken up right after the contempt proceedings against Eric Holder.

Because the fake inquiry does not allow the white house to defend itself.
