Anybody got one? If so what are your thoughts on the brand you bought? I'm looking at a pair of 100' expandable hoses on Amazon. The prices range from $30-70 for the same length.

I got one on amazon a while back and I loved it until it broke on inside of the flex exterior, so they sent me another one, which also broke. So I quit using them

They’re not good. Don’t hold pressure like a regular hose.

I thought durability might be an issue. I drag my current hoses around the yard with little regard for them.

Honestly designed with old women in mind. They can turn the water on and water plants close to house or on porch. Then turn water off and let it contract and deal with it without the weight of a hose. Do much more that this and they fail pretty quickly.

I bought this one about a month back.

I really like it for what I do with it but I use it as a secondary hose. I would not use it as a sprinkler hose because of the elasticity and it is heavier than most hoses. But I keep it on and keep in next to the porch. Doesn't leak a drop and is perfect for what I use it for. Basically didn't have the space for 2 hoses.

I haven't found any that last any length of time. For the price, ya cant beat a Flexzilla. Can be found on Amazon.

Annoying as hell if you’re trying to run sprinklers because of a month long drought. 50’ expandable hose is probably only 15’ without any water pressure. So you can’t really get the sprinkler where you want it without turning the water on first and getting yourself wet while the hose expands as water pressure builds

Buy a real hose. I have a 120' hose that is 12 years old. Cost $27. Just did a repair job on it; replaced the end nozzle and a section with a leak. Cost me $8, plus two beers, and now I have a perfectly good 119' hose.

The answer to this is one of those on/off valves you can connect to the hose and sprinkler. I use one for a hard to reach area of our lawn.
Agree with others though that they aren’t super durable and eventually tear or spring a leak.

Don't buy one. They last about a year and then start leaking. I was told mine went bad because I am being to rough with them. It is a fricken hose

Bought a Neverkink in college when we rented a house in 2004. Still use it today with no leaks or any issues.

Yea I wouldn't use it for anything but a small area because of this.
Bed Bath and Beyond has a 50 ft for about $20 after their coupon.
I have one to water all the pots on the back patio. It works fine for that area because I only need it in a 20 foot area. When I am done, it retracts back behind all the bushes.

The wife has purchased several over the years they are all junk. They work great as long as you do not leave pressure in them. Had one that I used solely for washing the trucks, just the few minutes it was left with the nozzle closed while washing the truck was enough to make the coupling break loose. No more expandable hoses here.

I’ve had two of them and both sprung leaks in no time at all. Not very durable.

Concept is awesome. Had two and loved them for the two weeks they worked.
Now I have a stainless flex hose. Have had it 2 years, use it daily. No problems.
