Easy fanboy.

I don't have an issue with either company. Good for both of them. I think it is good for wrestling as a whole that AEW now exist, but to act like AEW doesn't want to compete with WWE just isn't true.

AEW loves airing the "They saw what wrestling was and now see what it can be." Who the hell do you think that was aimed at?

Again, good for both brands but it's stupid to pretend like AEW doesn't want to compete.

Ok, simple yes or no question. Did AEW even mention or make a slight reference to WWE before Trips little outburst at the HOF? .

I dgaf, they can sling shite at each other all week long as long as it makes them deliver their best to us. But ppl need to stop crying about the throne when it came after HHH did his thing.

AEW always wanted to compete with WWE, anyone who says otherwise is a mark

NXT wasn't even going to air on network TV until just a couple of months ago. If NXT never moves to USA, AEW would be measuring their ratings against RAW. RAW was always going to be the benchmark.

I’m in the competition is good but AEW isn’t the one camp. All of their SJW nonsense and starting out with the same issues that destroyed WCW doesn’t make them a threat. Without a threat, competition means nothing. WCW was a threat to the the existence of WWF. They got desperate and the Attitude Era was born and beget the MNW.

Ppl asked why he left, he told his story. Take that however you want. His experience is shared by many that ppl never wanted to listen to but Dean being who he was drew attention.

You’re kind of being a bit obtuse here.

You can prop AEW all you want, but don’t act like ONE of the reasons they started this all was to go after WWE

Id rather watch that than Aleister Black sitting in the broom closet.

That was from the 5/10/99 Raw. 5 of the top 12 most watched cable wrestling matches were from that episode. Russo.

They didn't because they know they would lose.

But AEW was always going to measure its numbers against RAW's.

They are indirect competition. Like if AEW can someday reacher higher ratings than Raw, they can say they are the most watched weekly wrestling show, but they aren't trying to steal away Raw's viewers because the shows aren't on the same night

Because neckbeard AEW Smarks want WWE to fail so bad that they’re hooking onto that wagon and not backing down.
I'm excited for the start of AEW, and I'm one of "those fans" who would have gladly paid through the nose to see a PWG show if I lived anywhere near SoCal.

That said, AEW ratings will never beat Raw's, and that's OK! WWE is to wrestling in 2019 what Kleenex is to facial tissues. I already really like watching NXT, and the addition of AEW just means more opportunities for me to see The style of wrestling I enjoy.

The best part of it all is that wrestlers now have more leverage in negotiating for better pay and conditions, and they also have a place to go and "refresh" their characters when they hit a wall in one promotion or the other.

I think most fans are just happy to have more good wrestling and competition to light a fire under WWE's arse.

We'll see if Dynamite has lasting power. I don't think a dude wrestling as a shoot woman and some dork who "wrestles" with his hands in his pockets will be best business.
