Really good video about how Coach O outsmarted college football by making people think he was retarded. But in reality he followed coaches like Saban and Dabo, and is nearly at that level.

It really is a must watch. He put everything together perfectly.

He’s not at that level yet.

Can we just enjoy what he has done and not make ridiculous comparisons that reek of desperation?

one of these things is not like the other. O hasn’t come close to winning the league, much less sniffed a national title.

Video doesn't say he's at their level. Only OP said that.

The guy rips his shirt off, chugs redbull, and knocks out his own teeth to fire his team up. Is it really that big of a stretch?

It's actually a good video. Unfortunately your take on it is not accurate. It basically chronicles that O was willing to make changes when he saw things weren't working, that he understands his weaknesses and was able to go out and find the correct personnel to achieve success. It also mentions that O is underestimated by everyone and he has used that to his advantage.

The guy makes a point that ultimately earned my support of Ed O and that is Ed hires positions he needs help with.

I'll let you know how I feel about Orgeron after the Bama game.. Anything singing his praises at this point in the season is premature.

ETA: I'll add a bit more here. Because it sounds like I'm saying he isn't that great, but our offense has looked amazing thus far and Orgeron has definitely exceeded my expectations .. But we haven't even gotten in to the meat of the schedule yet against top-tier SEC defenses. We come out against Florida and Auburn and put on a clinic... I'm all in on O.
