Congratulations. That’s awesome
We donated my dad’s organs and his lungs went to a sweet woman named Darlene
She wrote us a letter soon after the surgery about how we’d changed her life. It meant the world. I’ve read it so many times. I posted it on here too
I’d hoped some of the others would write but they didn’t. So I encourage you/your son to write the donor’s family

I imagine your entire family will probably have a sleepless night in happy anticipation.
Your son should have a wonderful life ahead and tell him people he has never met will be sending prayers.

I can’t imagine going through dialysis that long as a kid. And having to watch as a parent seems incredibly tough. So happy for your kid and your family!
