CEH has been really good this year for what we need. People are just upset because he isn’t Guice or Fournette.

Curious... What about team rushing stats?
Posted on 9/27/19 at 5:00 pm to DaCajun1
Bama has been pretty lackluster this year running the ball. A lot of is because they dont need to because of the WRs and Tua.

Selective information.
In the spirit of honesty and transparency, Najee Harris is averaging 5.9 yards per carry to Clyde's 5.6. Not bad at all, but still behind Harris. However, the much larger statistic that tells the actual story: LSU is averaging 4.0 yards per rush, and Alabama is at 5.3 yards per rush. LSU has 133 rushing attempts and Alabama has 134. Alabama has 715 rushing yards, and LSU has 527.
So almost identical in terms of attempts, and Alabama is far ahead in yards and average per rush. LSU has played the toughest opponent between the two teams, but (so far) Alabama's schedule has had more strength, on balance.

Since when is alabama our benchmark?

Spot on. He’s not as talented as a normal LSU back of the last 15 years.
People (myself included) are critical of his speed. It’s ok to call it what it is sometimes

Since we’ve been their cuck / bitch for nearly a decade.

Not as good yardage wise but we have more rushing TD’s. 11 to 9.
So we are still doing just fine here. It’s all relative.
Being able to run it in from the goal line is critical.
Being able to run it from the goal line is critical, yes, but I don't think LSU is better at this than any other team. 11 touchdowns to Alabama's 9 on the ground just speaks to different situations and different play calls by the two teams. If you struggle to run the ball everywhere else on the field, then you are surely not going to do any better at the goal line against a stacked front.
Again this is selective information, or conformation bias, pick your term, to try to make it look like LSU is better at running than they are.
I'm simply hopeful that Ed Ingram will make all the difference when he gets fully re-acclimated.

I mean you’d be a fool to not look at Clemson and Bama as benchmarks. Should you want to be better? Absolutely. Should you look to emulate things they do that make them so consistently successful? Absolutely.

Since we stopped being able to beat them. There’s a whole group of you who love to ask this rhetorical question.
