This thread is a massive waste of pixels. Biden has admitted that he put pressure on Ukraine to sack Shokin. That is not the question.
The question is his motivation. Was he acting to protect Baby Biden, or was he acting in furtherance of US policy and the desires of the international community?

I agree that this is a waste of time. At the time, the firing of this prosecutor was seen as a good thing, not only by the USA but also the other western democracies.
He was generally viewed as corrupt and there were numerous street protests by the Ukrainian people demanding his removal since he was protecting his friends and other political allies and oligarchs. Basically, the USA did not want to provide $1 Billion in loan guarantees to a corrupt government.

Correct. Biden was carrying out a policy developed at the State Department and coordinated with the European Union and the International Monetary Fund.

It wasnt pressure, it was assurance backed by 1 billion in US Green. Obama admin loved giving money to corrupt countries, why so hard on the Ukraine?
Curious, anyone know anywhere else that type of pressure was applied?

You know, for somebody who pisses and moans because he’s constantly accused of being a liberal, you sure do defend the liberal position a lot.
Just sayin’...

This is so fricking embarrassing
You think it was a coincidence that of all the prosecutors in the world, the country Biden threatened to withhold $1 billion dollars from just so happened to have a prosecutor investigating his unqualified inexperienced son? That’s what you believe?
