Are you implying you felt as if you could control the outcome before?

You were never a kid who thought based on superstition or other reason you could control the game. Done know how many "rally caps" I've done in my mouth a what not.

Of course and I still feel that desire to do those but don't act on them besides sacrificing a live chicken before the game . Honestly dude, just fricking with you as a Yankee fan and you know that. We are all fans here.

Always though the rally cap was lame though, I won't lie.

I've never cared on wins on losses,I'm here to talk baseball. Yankees or Astros it doesn't matter I just want to see a good game. Which is why Verlander's game 6 was fine for me it was a great game

Both of you guys would get along fabulously at the bar w some cold beer

shite doesn’t come across the same on the internet

Astros vs Yankees is destiny

Big question is where do we play Game 1

Hinch and texastiger38 don’t seem to care as much as I do

You are reaching as I told multiple people where you would be. Also, where I would be before game 6 and 7 and they never showed up.

Oh its without a doubt we'd get along, when people actually can connect it makes all the difference

I live out of state and would only be come into town for the WS, also depends on work. I would be interested in meeting up with a few fellow DATers before/for one of the games if the Astros go all the way.

Im not reaching

They usually hand it to me, then I’ll give you one

I can speak for at least 4 DATers

One of which sat next to me for a game

But I usually don’t come in for ALCS. May make an exception this year

And you never told anyone where I would be

I haven’t attended an ALCS or NLCS game, ever

No one seemed to care about HFA on 17 when we were “bad” (48-33) at home. (Mostly the offense just didn’t hit)

We were 9-2 that postseason at home.

3-6 on the road after 53-28 in regular season.

I’m with you where I don’t think it’s that big of a deal. I think I’d rather play the Twins in a 5 gamer than Oakland or Tampa also

You’re right

My feelings now are based on what happened in ‘17

If I told you that the 4-0 lead we lost in the 7th in NY led to me destroying personal property and driving drunk for hours, would you believe me?

For a man my age with certain responsibilities, it’s not easy to admit the range of emotion I went through that night.

I want no part of NY and their ghosts

I mean playing the Yankees is inevitable. Whether it’s at home or the road, I trust our offense.

If they have HFA, I think we can steal at least 1 on the road with JV or Cole on the mound

Yankees last home series loss was mid April

I don’t like anything about that park

It’s a girls softball field. Didn’t even have the decency to raise one of the fences

It’s like the LLWS when they played w a 150 ft fence

The fans are mostly entitled and not genuine
