The thread unrolls are done by a bot that gets tagged by someone following the thread when it's over. All you have to do is tag @threadreaderapp in a reply.

He's been dead on with the order that everything will happen. Obviously no one knows precise timing, but it has not been my experience that he's wrong.

He was the first that I saw who was taking the angle that McCabe's own folks were the ones who leaked the appeal refusal to get sympathy from compromised MSM outlets.

With respect to his personality, that's neither here nor there, to me. He can be smug so long as he doesn't peddle fake news.

Vox will even have to at that. We have no media we can trust. So it is a shame we have to rely on these twitter roll outs. I trust Techno Fog and CTH that is about it. And when CTH is wrong they own it but are always humble and not arrogant.

And if Cates were less arrogant I may read what he has to say. But he is always saying

THIS IS THE WAY IT IS

frick ALL OF YOU FOR MAKING ME REPEAT IT.

Then if they don't go to podiums all nicey feely and unseal 56894949585868696 indictments as he says

He will make another thread reader saying different shite and he knew all along.

I thought it was the Huber guy that Techno Fog and LastRefuge CTH RT's that is pretty spot on?

https://twitter.com/Techno_Fog

Are you confusing Huber with Cates? I think I recall Cates being wrong and off course.

Sounds like why they leaked it then. Get an article you can reference in a last gasp attempt to get it dropped.

Sounds exactly like the trump dossier. Fabricate news stories so you can reference them for justification and validation.

UndercoverHuber has a great account, too. I treat Cates like an opinion columnist, much like Thomas Wictor. I wouldn't call either a seasoned, professional journalist, but as a rule, they're usually pretty accurate.

Undercover Huber is on an entirely different plane, though. He's awesome.

Well it’s not like this is the first time those guys do this. It’s from the dossier play book.

Is McCabe's scum lawyer just pulling this out of his arse completely making it up? I don't see either WaPo or The NYTimes saying there was a grand jury and McCabe was found innocent.

This is insane as grand juries are supposed to be secret.

They are pulling a fast one. It is so twisted it is hard to explain. (WaPo & NYTimes now reporting this story and the article says the two papers inquired whether a grand jury found McCabe innocent.) It is insane and intended to confuse and form a narrative of poor poor McCabe Orange man and Barr out to get him...

And what will that mean when Trump isn’t indicted?

You heard Mueller. It's DOJ policy not to pursue indicting a sitting president. So it means that Congress is a shite show (but you knew that).

By early Tuesday evening, more than 720 former federal prosecutors who worked in Democratic and Republican administrations had signed a letter asserting that President Trump would have been charged with obstructing justice based on special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s findings — if Trump were not the president.

The signers included some left-leaning lawyers who have gained prominence from their frequent TV appearances, but also a significant number of career prosecutors and high-profile conservatives who bristle at the suggestion they were motivated by anti-Trump bias.

A handful interviewed by The Post on Tuesday said they hoped for little else than to make public their view that Attorney General William P. Barr had mischaracterized Mueller’s report in asserting it laid out insufficient evidence to make an obstruction case. They said they did not sign hoping to spark impeachment proceedings.

Are you really freaking serious with this? Muh obstruction from a bunch of neverTrumper and lawfare blogger lawyers.

If he didn't collude with Russia he didn't obstruct.

The only obstruction charge they used was asking about Flynn because he is a good guy and firing Comey. Flynn was set up and is a good guy. And the scathing OIG report on Comey explains why any President would/could fire him. Much less a President can fire an AG at will for no reason.

Overall: President Trump was set up and conspired against; so defending himself is not obstruction. Ask Turley and Dersh.
