I’m 52 and a life long college football fan... I don’t recall ever seeing a band in the upper deck

Unfortunately, other than being really hot - Tiger Stadium's upper deck seats are much better than those endzone upperdeck seats at Texas's stadium.

Texas should get only South upper deck tickets. LSU wasn’t even give upper deck sideline seats.

I sat near the band and it was a climb up about 15 or 20 ramps to get there. I imagine the tubas got heavy...

Is there any rule saying we have to allot a block of seats like that to the band? If they need 60 seats, break their band up in six separate blocks of 10 seats on the upper rows distributed throughout the stadium. Good luck playing with that arrangement.

Yeah those seats were atrocious... we could barely make out the band even when the stadium lulled no chance of hearing them in the second half. Made a comment to my Texas hosts as soon as we entered the stadium they commented that they normally were in the lower stadium but moved with the construction moving the students over. Didn’t hold water then and with the ac stuff the booing injuries just lines up that Texas treated both fans and athletes like shite
