This is my favorite part of what the POTUS does....he NEVER allows an insult to go un-responded.
If treated with impunity, The insults slowly do damage like crystal -meth.....They eat away at you until you are finished....Think GWB ......

I think if he laid off of the personal references he'd draw in more voters who base their votes on the superficial. Every vote is needed. There are probably a large number of casual voters who would vote for him if he wasn't so "mean."

Go to youtube and search Comedy Central's roast of Trump. Legend and Chrissy were in the audience and liked Trump as he was hinting on running for POTUS.
I don't GAF what Trump tweets anymore. Let them all get called out. That asswipe Sanford and the other two want DIGNITY brought back.
Dignity just means canned BS political speech; no one wants again in the majority of America.
All politicians have promised
-immigration reform
-lockbox spending
-healthcare that is fair while they all enjoy the best on our dime
-term limits
-equal pay for women
and on and on and they never do anything.
At least Trump acts on what he said he would do.

Trump is childish at times with the tweets, but he usually proves liberal progressives to be exactly as he states. In this case, he was once again right.
To another point in this thread, the high road hasn’t worked for Republicans as that strategy implies that the media will point out how wrong some liberal was for saying what they did about a Republican or that the electorate will some how see things as unfair to a Republican. That just doesn’t happen with a media openly rooting against our Presidents success.

See, as a conservative during the W Bush Presidency, I had to see him drink the mud they slung at him plus no fight back. I was infuriated. The media was ruthless. And then during Obamas Presidency, all the Republican leaders got the same treatment and no fight back- infuriating (Ryan, Romney, drunk Boehner, etc). This is beyond refreshing.

Because it's entertaining. After years and years of inept presidents, I've come to find that I like a president that gets shite done and is petty as hell along the way. This country knew who this man was before he was elected. He was on a damn reality TV show for years. You think he's all of a sudden going to be "Presidential"? He's not, and this country is better for it.
