It never showed it hitting the ground on the replay we saw but they said that it showed it touching the ground if the replay went on a little longer for us viewers. Not sure why they wouldn’t show everyone but that is the explanation they gave. I do think it was most likely the right call.

Not only did it hit the ground but his feet were out of bounds before he gained control of the ball

34:08 mark.

Turn up your brightness and you can see it on the ground.

You can’t see that ball hit the ground. Was it close? Sure. But the video at no point shows the ball contact the ground.

Yes, it bounced on the ground under the receiver.

Nah. The correct call was made.

Again. If you adjust your brightness you can clearly see it hit the ground. If not you can’t see the ball in the shadow.

My TV’s video is set on sports setting and I crank up the brightness. I saw it on the first replay. I see why you could be confused but it hit the ground 100%.

I never saw it hit the ground either, and I watched the game as if that makes a damn difference. Lol But you will get fools on here that will always argue against you just because that's what they do!

The ball came loose between the two players, but it never touched the ground. It rolled on there bodies or was pinned between there bodies with Stingley grabbing it and taking possession of it, but the other guy (Texas WR) never had possession of the ball.

Count me in the “never saw it hit the ground” club.

Watched it a few times in slo-mo on a big screen like everyone else.

Never showed it hitting the ground.

Well I applied an anti-rantard X-ray filter and it clearly shows the UT receivers arm stopping the ball from touching the ground.

Stingley intercepted be ball and was robbed of an INT.
