I think they will be recruiting LSU - what an offense (and recognize this was only the second game with it in!!)

QB;s - 5 star only - better get those cards and letters and TAPEs coming!!

CEO is probably looking at the potential graduate free agent market for another Burrow qb for next year.

Brennen is not the answer.

I also feel like Brennan needs alot of work.

maybe it is just playing time, but I'm not seeing it yet.

I dont like how far back on the sidelines he stands. Especially when we are on defense.

Get your dang mental reps! Ehlinger was playing a perfect game. Study it live.

We've only seen Brennan in garbage time with the 3rd string team. He's made a couple of off target throws but hasn't looked terrible. He also apparently does well in practices. Let's wait until he gets real playing time to say he's not good enough

Need to cut one of the kids we got committed right now and go hard after a Harrison Bailey who is committed to UT or a Bryce Young out in Cali. We cant take two projects. Maybe go after a transfer after this season.

The staff needs to go out and find a 5 star QB. If this is the system we're running in the future, then we're going to need a smart, elite passer to make it work. Max and TJ both struggle with accuracy, and I think we made a huge mistake in not pursuing King.

Clemson, Alabama, Ohio State, Oklahoma, etc, always seem to bring in 5 star QBs every single year. And this allows them to run the types of offenses they run. The staff absolutely needs to go out and find an elite guy for 2020/21 if they want to keep this going.

Transfer, Recruit, Walk on the Best... Then the best man wins...

No Ifs, ands, or butts...

That’s how you build a powerhouse...

I would check in on DJ U. for sure see if you can turn him from Clemson..

I believe if the season continues as it started offensively LSU should see some impressive recruits this year wanting in and going forward.

If you mean the 2021 QBs, the two names that come up are Caleb Williams and Garrett Nussmeier. Williams is the #1 dual threat out of Washington D.C. and is definitely elite, but Georgia seems way out in front there. Nussmeier is the 4 star son of the former Bama/Michigan/Florida OC. He's from Texas.

He's going to be sitting for a year at Clemson. He would start on day one for us.

These are the types of QBs we need to bring in if we want this type of offense to continue in the future.

Call him up, tell him exactly that....

Tell him to watch what we do this year and say DJ, if you want it bad enough it will be yours. LSU is on the rise and the best want to be here nationally, have a look at our class. You sit at Clemson, here you will be King....if you win the job.

In MHO, pedigree is extremely important in recruiting a quarterback. Give an ex-pro's son, or a coaches son at QB.

Nussmeier is going to be a stud and as of now looks like we're on top for him. Still need to recruit the hell out of Caleb Williams though and hope for the best!

Totally agree. In my mind, a coach's son ads another star to a recruit. They're just different.
