Honestly, that story is a great example of how the combination of the media, plus people getting VERY vested in their initial reaction = total stupidity.
I've a couple of simple questions.
1. On Sunday, was it considered at least possible Dorian could travel west instead of North?
2. Since the answer to #1 is yes, how far is the Alabama border from Savannah?
3. Now, how far is West Virginia from the Carolina coasts?
4. Now, research Hurricane Hugo, West Virginia
Get back to me on how stupid it was to include Alabama in a "heads up" tweet.
