How is it that Ehlinger is a better QB? Serious question
I don't agree that he is. A lot of Burrow's greatness is difficult to measure. Burrow is probably more accurate short and medium. Ehlinger has advantage on deep throws.

I love Joe, but they have a better QB

do they though? I think Ehlinger is a really good player but I just dont see that and Ive watched their games. I dont see some huge discrepancy at all. They are both really good.

Just don't make me sit there and watch Ehlinger have 25 qb draws up the middle for 10 yards a piece like ND QB did in that Nashville bowl game a few years ago

I worry a little about having a freshman punt returner and a freshman kicker.

Ehlinger is a tough kid, and I’m usually a fan but hoping that he throws a pick or two

The only way we get beat on Saturday is being out coached

Not out the realm of possibility. No one except LSU fans consider O the better coach, but all national pundits consider Herman the better.

For example, Athlon has Herman at 15 and O at 51. Sporting News has Herman at 9 and O at 15. CBS has Herman at 17 and O at 30. Saturday Down South has Herman at 13 and O at 19. 247Sports has Herman at 13 and O at 25.

There are literally dozens of ways Lsu can lose.

It's a 1 game series with a bunch of kids playing

I would bet money it doesn't happen though

Unless the call goes our way, like the ineligible linemen downfield against Georgia Southern on two of our TDs.

You do realize that this is characteristic of all RPO offenses? It’s why guys like David Pollack say the RPO should be illegal. But since the refs rarely call the penalty for lineman downfield, it works. Don’t act like LSU got some special treatment there.

Turnovers baw, turnovers.... take care of the ball and the scoreboard will take care of itself...

Limit the big plays, They will not sustain long drives... must limit the big plays that gives them scores... either by field goal or a chance for the endzone...

If you really want to know how LSU wins its no different than any other game.... it just has a magnifying glass on it...

The line of scrimmage and turnovers wins this game... Special teams has a tendancy to be important in big games, its no different here...

All about our D-line vs their O-line... I think our offense will score at least 21... prob 38ish... If our D-line can get pressure on SE its over... dropping 7-8 guys while getting pressure is impossible to score on... all eyes on Chaisson and Jacoby Stevens.... Those two will be huge when it comes to applying pressure either with blitzes... or spying... book it...

1) Texas scores more than LSU
2) forfeit.

That's the only one I saw. Pointed out in the youtube film breakdown.

That is Tom Herman finds and exploits a weakness and we don’t adapt.

Perhaps a weakness like the offensive line. Texas does a lot of zone blitzing that could eat LSU up.

You've gotten way ahead of yourself with the playoff talk. Lsu is stacked at almost all positions, however the offensive line is the weak link. They will have ample opportunity this season to prove they have improved. But, I'm not drinking any Kool aid until I see the oline can perform at a high level.

Ehlinger is not better than Burrow. In anyway you rate them it is close either way. This game is going to be won by covering the 6 6 receiver. Creating a couple of turnovers.. and executing on offense every play. No WiF blocks by the tackles. Make the throw and catch for third down conversions. Getting Texas off the field on third down. Texas does not have a Shelvin..Delpit. Stevens... chaisson. Stingley. Fulton. The defense will make it tougher on ehlinger.

The only way we lose if Texas owns a 5-0 margin in TO and we still could win.

I don’t think they have the better quarterback. After this year you will probably say Joe was better than everyone beside Tua!

Of course you would pick Joe because he plays for your team. If Ehlinger was LSUs QB and Texas had Burrow you would pick Ehlinger every time.
