Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and The Lion King Game List
The current game list for Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and The Lion King is:
Disney’s Aladdin - SEGA Genesis version
Disney’s Aladdin - Game Boy version (includes “Super Game Boy version,” which implies a bit more color, Super Game Boy-style)
Disney’s Aladdin Final Cut - We don’t know what this is but asked (we haven’t heard back)
Disney’s Aladdin Trade Show Demo - A demo version “that has not been publicly available since 1993,” according to the press release
The Lion King - SEGA Genesis version
The Lion King - Super Nintendo version
The Lion King - Game Boy version (also includes “Super Game Boy" version)

Maybe this settles the Genesis vs SNES Aladdin debate. Great game.

The stampede level on LK and getting out of the genie lair in Aladdin were the 2 toughest levels of my childhood.

I'm down for both of these

I spent endless hours playing those two games on Sega

The Lion King is not what I would call a good game. It's mostly the bad kind of hard where it's more frustrating/poorly designed than challenging but fair.

Wait, people actually argue for the SNES version?

It was amazing. I cant count how many times me and my buddies played through and beat that game. I remember having a few friends spend the night, playing it until 2 am, then waking up to find out two of them had stayed up all night playing it.
To be fair, I didn't have a genesis and never played that version past the first level waiting in an orthodontist office, so I cant really make a comparison.

They should have added movie cutscenes.

I've read some threads on some gaming forums where people seriously think this lol..it was a good, fun game, but totally different and not on the level of the Genesis version, imo.
