Love the disclaimer in the footnote, where the attorney states that they are not admitting that Trump is a public figure. As if that would actually be a disputed issue.
Other than that, hell yeah - it's about time the media is reminded that at one time journalists at least pretended to be ethical.

Seems like some chess from the left. Throw it out there...Trump does nothing ...guilt by inaction. Trump responds and loan documents are legal fodder. Docs show nothing...at worst then some money changes hands. Retractions are brief and stated at 9pm on a Fri. No biggie, some damage is done. Vs. the possiblity of there being some ambiguity that can be stoked. This is really the only avenue the left has. "Trump is business failure and needed sordid Russians to prop him up...he is now an indentured servant to Moscow"
