My man Arden has been on it:
Sad thing is he'll probably be reelected.

Arden Wells posting that from one of his accounts to the wall of another is killing me lmao

I know nothing of this case except what I've read in the papers so I know my perception is probably BS. BUT, in keeping up with it through that, it seems that he had his fingers in all kinds of illegal, line crossing, harrassment type drug enforcement. Again, I only know what the paper tells me but they've outlined a whole criminal enterprise with him as the top kingpin. He's got a lot of problems and has made a lot of enemies so I can only imagine what the future holds for him. I definitely don't want to wear his shoes.

Hardly a word has been written during this election cycle about the FBI investigations the last two years in Tangipahoa and in every one the Edwards have some connection. Didn’t 100 FBI agents descend on the Hammond police chiefs office and Sheriff Edwards office a year or so ago? Vote buying by Ruffino—-John Bel said he paid him some money to put up signs. Bail bond scam in the sheriffs office Deaths in the jail. Deputies selling dope. I suspect the Edward’s are a little tense as they ponder what Scott may tell the feds to avoid the next trial and reduce the sentence in this conviction. No telling how much cash his family is being offered by rich supporters to keep quiet either I suspect.
Because if there was a way to link them, they would. There isn’t, so there’s is no need other than what has occurred.
They didn’t raid their personal offices.
frick Rufunio, however, nearly every damn elected official in this parish has paid that man money during election season. I would hope one day he gets his due and goes to prison.
Those deputies were charged, and pending prosecution.
Deaths happen at all jails.
Which ones? The ones previously arrested and used to testify against Chad Scott for a lesser sentence?
I doubt they are worried at all.
It is ok Arden, one day you’ll clear 5% during an election.

That he took property and cash in his role as a drug agent.

So you’re saying he’s a lying piece of shite?

Lets hope you are right and there is no more criminals around the Edwards. Lets hope all the investigations and arrest were simply the results of astonishing incompetence at the top and no crimes were committed.
Oh---if you think Arden is the only person reading the paper and seeing the stories you are badly mistaken.

Proof that you don't know a god damned thing about GHB.
Best drug/supplement ever. Date Rapers and Bill Clinton Ruined it for ERRYBODY.
GHB Laws
This was so very stupid.

You see the legal side, but some of us know people who have been victimized/abused by his tactics. It's some shite out of a 'dirty cop' movie that he's done to people on the side of dark back roads but never makes its way to a courtroom.

That's the way I've been reading it too. I think he felt he was doing what it takes to rid the streets but crossed the line aplenty. And this is the part that wouldn't surprise me one bit. I think he felt he was doing the right thing but when you play with fire(questionable ethics), you eventually get burned.

I just feel like we still just need actual evidence of these things instead of hearsay and testimonies of convicted felons. I know if I were convicted based on those premises I would have an issue.

Some of these guys are cops that worked with him who pled guilty in hopes of a sentencing reduction. This is how it works in federal court. They offer deals to get the bigger fish.

That's how I see it. He was playing a dirty game and you have to get mud under your nails to play it. He just got to much and it's not washing off. But my impression is not that he was felt he was doing the right thing all the time but that he got cocky and felt untouchable.
Again, from what the papers has framed for us.
Every situation I have been close to that made the paper or even official police reports has not been close to accurate. So, I have to think that this is similar, based off of my experiences, which again, i have none about this case.
