I really enjoyed the octopus vinaigrette app. Otherwise I was generally disappointed in the food. Staff was great and the interior was fine but the food was underwhelming. I hope your experience is better than mine but I doubt if I return.

The atmosphere. That is about it. The restaurant is gorgeous, great atmosphere, good service.
Food is pretty average for the quality of chef and look of the place.

I hear this most often. Haven't been because of that.

This is NOT what I call a glowing review when talking about a NOLA eating establishment.

I really enjoyed my burger that came with an au jus gravy.

I was wondering the same thing. Some friends were there a few Tuesdays ago for lunch, I believe. They enjoyed it, but there were only two other tables. It was pretty dead.
They also ate dinner at Zasu, that night, which was packed. They were told Zasu turns tables 2 1/2 times every night since it's opened and has pretty much already paid off the debt to renovate.

Do they still put tables in what is a hallway, as the other place that was there before them did?

I don't think so but we sat toward the front

I believe that. Zasu is fantastic.

Good to know. I really want to try it out soon. Her menu looks phenomenal.

When it was Rue 127, I had the most uncomfortable dining experience I think I have ever had. They seated us on a table next to the door to and from the kitchen and there was another couple super tight to the other side of us. I got bumped several times by wait staff coming and going.
To make matters worse, there was a couple and their 2 year old seated in the restaurant that night and I think they adored every cute sound their kid made including him banging a spoon on the table.

I just looked at the menu and it looks amazing.

Sooo.... we couldn’t get to Justine last night.
Traffic was stagnant due to street flooding. I sat barely moving within a few miles of my house for an hour and a half. Finally gave up, turned around and called to cancel and nobody was there to answer even an hour or two later. They may have closed? 5 inches of rain in the CBD per hour is no a go for influx of traffic.
