I live 5 minutes from the Juban location and we frequent it a lot. But, if i'm over on that side of town i'd rather eat something else. That location apparently is poison to restaurants. They should have just stayed at that Coursey location.

I wonder how unsanitary the kitchen area is?

There is no way the kitchen is clean if the front of house has mold and whatnot. Sounds like poor management.

Chimes East agrees with this

I actually like Walkons. Towne Center location is not like the others.

I do, too. I've never had a problem at Burbank. The Towne Center location is just a shithole that is beyond repair.

Have you been to the Chimes on Coursey lately? Took some out of town relatives Sat. and they were speechless on what BR has become since they moved from here years ago

If you want Chimes, you have to go to the LSU location. The Coursey location is awful.

What are they known for? There's one opening near my house in Bham soon. Menu looks kinda meh, but I'll be a regular if they have a good draft list.

Agreed Town Center sucks compared to Burbank.

The Best Walkons is in Lake Charles next to McNeese....

Maybe so, but the chargrilled oysters and crawfish etouffee at Chimes East are pretty damn good. Chicks behind the bar are pretty good looking as well. But, there's the non-tipping clientele.

obscene amounts of televisions, large portions of mostly unspectacular food, good waffle fries, and generally kid friendly which is why we end up there.

Average food. EVERYTHING THERE IS FRIED except the salads. It's like just buy it at Sysco and we will fry it and they will never know

Too big too fast I guess, it's a shame as the food has gotten better over the years.

I always thought their food was average in both quantity and taste for the prices they charge.

There's enough reasons to hate on this particular WO's, wouldn't you agree?

I'd think that most want walk-on's to be successful and to be fair they have been for the most part. This particular location is unsanitary and the service there isn't great, just the truth.

Dunno. Never been to that particular location. My comment was in regards to the menu which to my knowledge is not location dependent.

There's something about the layout or property ownership or something but every restaurant that's ever been in that space ends up trashy.
