Which State is Worse, LA or MS?

For my money it is MS. At least LA has NOLA and oil. There is little growth in the 'Sip and young, motivated people are leaving in droves. Our politicians only strategy is cut, cut, cut, never grow. MS has better deer hunting, better casinos and maybe slightly less corrupt politicians, but that's it.

MS has lower cost of living. That's why I live here - in order to go back to LA I would have to take a significant pay cut, as well as pay more for housing and more for auto insurance.
