The catch and fumble gets me. That was the second or third game over, but the most convincing. That guy caught the ball, turned around, took at least 2 steps, gets hit, loses the ball. That's a fumble everyday. Didn't even get reviewed. For this bozo zebra to say the refs did a great job is nothing short of an atrocious PR campaign.

I am in 100% agreement with this. there were a lot of close calls, but this one didn't even get reviewed and it was a catch and fumble.

hell, the knee down to end the game in regulation could've gone either way. he didn't clearly have possession when his knee hit. still, it was so close it's a judgment call. but not the catch and fumble.

I hope Woodward and LSU send an official statement to the SEC office communicating their displeasure with this programming on the SEC Network. It's clearly a propaganda piece to boost public perception of the league's officials. Is that really what we want the SECN to be? This is gross.

The real problem with that call is that the clock stopped and they were able to line up before the clock started again! There should be some sort of runoff in that situation.

Wrong! This has been their rallying cry all offseason.

I saw that a--hole explaining one thing happening, while we were watching the complete opposite of what he was saying. Sorry, but seeing is believing. That receiver was tucking the ball, when he was hit,and the ball dislodged.

He knows in his heart-of-hearts that they did a poor job. And instead of doing the standup thing and taking responsibility, he does what people with a character disorder do: blame everyone else but himself. He needs to go but I won’t hold my breath because he’s pretty locked in. The fact that he has the arrogance to make a TV show about a game where so many big calls were missed is telling.

Wrong. Head over to the sec rant. Daniel and the rest of those undignified pride less fruitcakes are bragging.

I will say that not ONE SINGLE AGGIE will debate the calls with me though. They know it was rigged but they don't care.

Steve Shaw is a fine man. At the end of the day, that's very important. With that said, his handling of the aftermath of that game took a huge hit on his work credibility and respect barometer.

LSU blew the game multiple times, and the refs did not take it away from them. If you disagree, you are not a man.

Even so, turns out that game didn’t even matter. We were headed to Glendale to beat the national champions either way.

why would you subject yourself to this?

Exactly. This was the worst officiated game in the history of the ncaa. It was shameful and embarrasssing. It led to a rule change. It leads to showing explanations on TV 9 months later. It leads to the ranking committee virtually ignoring the loss w the knowledge it was a bogus win.

Here's something not mentioned yet, aggies averaged 11 penalties per game I believe. They had 3.
3.
3 in 7 fricking quarters.

Never in my life did I say refs were biased except this game. Anm had the refs in their pockets and that's a fricking fact.

This game had me so angry I couldn't even bitch or yell anymore after the 4th OT. I knew the refs weren't going to let us have it no matter what.

I was dead right.

You literally got me in a bad mood bringing this game up. If we can only win one game this season, just fricking one. It better be the most undignified, flamboyant, shameful, pathetic school in the ncaa.

The faggies.

Here we go putting people in their place.

First of all, if you're not willing to stand for injustice then YOU'RE NOT A MAN.

Secondly, there's two calls that literally don't match the rule book by the calling. They weren't a maybe one way or another. They were clear, unarguable miscalls.

Any and every loss effects the view of our program. Instead of saying 11-2 we say 10-3.
Instead of Ohio state we get ucf.
Instead of repping an 8 year streak, we've given jimbo the start of his run on us.

If you don't think that effects recruiting or morale in any way then you're critical thinking skills are factually low.

Since you are not a man, go hang out with the other children on sec rant. Nobody in this forum wants you here or wants you to support LSU.

Next time aTm are in a close game with Shaw's Alma Mater, they will get a wake up call.

I saw that and immediately said to self that was the biggest cop out especially since the SEC Refs have been on record that it was a bad call by the ref and another bad call for the unsportsmanlike.

The truth is, by “getting over it”, you allow it to continue. I’m just as guilty, I still count the game as a win for Lsu, because it was, but that mother fricker needs to be run out of town if he thinks his officials did a good job. They might have done what he told them to, but it was a shitshow either way.
