Finally watched Aquaman

Well it wasn't wrong.

Meh. Mamoa and Heard didn't have any chemistry for me. Kidman and Morrison's story and chemistry came across far better. I put that more on Heard and the writing than on anything else. The writing for their dialogue seemed uninspired and her portrayal was a bit wooden (and that's not even mentioning the shite coloring they did with her hair, the more natural red in JL worked far better).

The effects were solid (although maybe a bit overdone on the shiny coral) and Mamoa's Aquaman is a fun version.

I liked parts of it, but I was dissapointed overall. Momoa was great, and the trench scene was really cool. The underwater scenes, however, were cringe. Teenage Aquaman is a horrendous actor.

It was an ok movie, but the Black Manta was awful. Looked like a Power Rangers villain and the whole fight scene between he and Aquaman looked like a Power Rangers type movie.

This movie sucked. Dc is pretty pathetic and that’s being polite. Shazam and Wonder Woman are the only 2 movies that were in the decent/pretty good range. Other than that, dog shite.

Mamoa is a terrible actor. He’s good at playing Jason mamoa.

Watched it for the first time last Saturday and thought it was alright. I felt like you knew when a joke was coming or when in the desert to get the hologram you knew it wasn't going to work on the first try.

I feel that MCU does a better with their CGI compared to DC.

One of the better DC universe movies imo. Jason Momoa is the one of the best and most personable of the DC actors
