Beer priorities during game:

1) cold beer
2) fast beer
3) nothing else matters

I know I will. I’m going to give the beer a shot, but I’m not taking any chances

Aramark is going to run out of everything but Bud Light Lime-A-Rita's by the 2nd quarter.

They think people will be drunker in the stadium.

However, data shows that serving beer in college stadiums lowers binge drinking and alcohol related police incidents. People don't slam as much as they can before to "last the entire game" and far fewer people sneak booze in.

I, however, will continue bringing the trusty flask. Beer makes me pee too much and it'll be too expensive.

I have been hammered on here for years defending Joe Alleva. He really did a lot of good things for the school as unlikable as he was.

However selling the fans off to Aramark was shameful. Orgeron has proved me wrong and Fargas was a nice hire on paper at the time. Extending maineri that long was probably a bad call too. Nothing touches selling the fans off to Aramark though

I for some reason feel like they are gonna up the booze searching with sales now being in stadium. Gonna leave the flask at home for game 1, see how it goes and go from there.

Heard several people say they expect this.

It would take hours to get everyone in the stadium if they patted us all down thoroughly. I can stuff the flask in my waistline and tuck my shirt over it and you can't see it for shite. I don't walk differently or anything.

If they give us that good of a search, I guess I'll just buy beer

I definitely could see them cracking down more on watching for people in the stands mixing drinks. By the second half, I don't even try to hide it

I used to say the same, and one game I had a woman make me empty my pockets in front of her...thankfully I just lost a shitty plastic flask of crown...of course that was just once out of God knows how many times....

Alabama game in 2012 I was just past the ticket line person when my flask slipped out and somehow fell onto the ground...right in front of a cop. I use those big plastic ones that hold nearly a fifth, so it made a noise.

Cop looked at me and winked with a slight smile, I picked it up and put it back in my pants and he did nothing! I was home free.

Made it another 20 feet and another ticket looking lady that was obviously an LSU employee of sorts grabbed me and made me throw it out.

SO PISSED. I thought I had gotten away with a miracle
