**Warning**
As of a couple months ago Amazon can't sell CBD. They sell products that are similar like "hemp gummies", but they contain 0.00% CBD. It's a little deceiving

I'm not sure what snake oil was meant for,
It was meant for everything which seemingly applies to CBD oil. Just in this thread alone, it is beneficial for a wide range of ailments.

Correct. Isolate is CBD only and if I put 2gm in 30mL of MCT oil, that’ll come out to 67mg per mL. I can’t go anywhere near THC with my job so this will be a good option for me and way cheaper.
The hemp barn sells 1gm for $15 so for $30ish, I’ll have 2gm. My last purchased bottle was cbdMD 1500mg and was $90.
If you look at the broad spectrum lab tests, there’s very minimal substance to it besides the CBD & oil, so I hope this will work.
OOOOHHH I got ya. I had to go to that website to see. They sell premixed isolate. That is why I was confused.

I got scammed(my fault, really) into buying some CBD oil about 6 months ago. It was one of those free bottles, but you pay like $5.99 for shipping so they need your credit card. Obviously, it was an automatic sign up deal if you don’t proactively cancel. And it was like $70/month. Well, I fricked around and didn’t cancel it for a month or so, but I didn’t open it, so thought I’d be good. Then when I finally started to really cancel it, they had the wrong 800 number on the package. Took me way longer than it should have to finally get the correct number. Called and cancelled and said I had 4 empty packages I’d like to send back to get my money back. They said no. I talked to 2 different supervisors before telling them to go frick themselves (knowing it was really my dumbass fault for not doing my due-diligence).
Anyway, the point of that was that when I finally opened it, I see it’s only 5 fricking mg per serving. 150 in the entire bottle. I was listening to Ben Greenfield or Peter Attia talking about taking like 100-150 mg at night before bed, I think. So, what’s the appropriate dosage? I want to take some orally for overall recovery, anxiety, sleep, whatever else it may aid. I also want to rub some on aching body parts. What’s the best brand and correct dosage?

anyone take garlic? I saw someone put a garlic clove in their ear like cotton and it helped with an ear ache.

Perfect example. So I went to the following websites that people listed here: CbdMD, CBD distillery, and Carolina Hemp. No where on either of those sites do they tell you what it does. No where. They are intentionally avoiding claims. Costs and products seem to vary quite a bit.
Now, I have shin splints and another more serious pain concern. I’d love to try some CBD and see if it works. How am I supposed to find out what to do based off this information? Any advice appreciated.

the vast majority of people that I've talked to have claimed it helps with anxiety and/or sleep
muscle soreness/pain seems to be mixed whether it helps or not
I wouldn't think it will help with shin splints, as that is injury to your bone...

I’ll agree with anxiety/sleep and this is coming from a pretty extreme skeptic when it comes to stuff like this. It’s like Joe Rogan said “it helps with anxiety that I didn’t even realize I had”. I’m much more prone to just let work/life inconveniences or happenings just roll off nowadays. Total 180 for me.

I wouldn't either with fear of getting sued from people like you. Geez, lighten up.

Does CBD do that?
I'm just pointing something out. There are a ton of different claims out there about what this stuff can and can not do. These are user claims and not manufacturer claims. So, as someone who would potentially consume these products, how am I to decide which one to get, in what form, in what dosage, etc, etc, etc when the manufacturers will not publish any guidelines or recommendations?

For those that have taken / are taking this. Does the relief of anxiety and help sleeping come with any noticeable symptoms. For example to you feel drowsy , does it affect your daily work performance , etc?
I've been thinking of taking it to help with sleep and muscle soreness, but, don't know any results from actual people taking CBD oil.

For me personally, I don’t feel drowsy the morning after taking it. I’ve taken prescription meds for sleep and in the past couple years have taken unisom, Benadryl or melatonin. I wake up feeling sluggish after Benadryl or melatonin. I do not feel like that the next morning after taking CBD

My workouts have gotten a lot better, cause the inflammation is damn near gone and better quality sleep.
Posted on 8/22/19 at 2:59 pm to Possumslayer
So where do you guys that are using it go to buy it, online (please share site) or somewhere in the New Orleans area?
better sleep and reduced inflammation, that is exactly what i'm looking for.

I buy mine from a cbd store in town.... heard too many horror stories about buying online..
Sunmed broad spectrum is what I use.
Just bought my second bottle today, I was skeptical till the second day, by the third and fourth day I was convinced.
Haven’t taken an ibuprofen or Aleve since I started.
