I think Greinke gives us a good start today and the losing streak is snapped. It will be another less than par offensive performance but the pitching and defense will do well.

Astros win...like 5-2.

Well, here’s one way to tell how things will go. If we score fairly early and Oakland immediately scores after we do, then turn it off and save your Sunday afternoon.

I see an offensive explosion and easy win today for some reason.

Im going play golf, and I’ll check in when Im done

My interests mostly lie with how Melvin separates himself from Hinch

Hinch has become comparable to CLM to me, in that I have become philosophically juxtaposed to the management of my favorite team to follow. And yet they share nothing in common outside of being likeable personalities.

So, I’m sure it has more to do with me. But I never felt that way about Don Shula as a Dolphins fan growing up or Saban while at LSU. And I remember accepting Hinch once he got a handle on his pen, and began using starters in long relief, things that looked to be so obvious to anyone trying to win.

And that’s probably where my conflict lies. I can’t accept losing battles in an attempt to win the war, when I feel like the outcome of the war is dependent on winning more battles (HFA).

100%.

It’ll be interesting to see how long it takes today’s thread to reach nuclear meltdown mode as it was yesterday. I say if the A’s get a hit in the first, this thread is immediately finished for the day.

Hoping for a better start from Greinke this time around. He’s had a rough adjustment period. Also glad peacock is almost back.

Has he though? It probably depends on your expectations, but he hasnt been bad yet. Hes been solid. His first game was blemished by some bad fielding decisions and errors .

Aledmys Diaz is going on the IL. He fouled a ball off the top of his left foot on Friday.

Is straw eligible to come back? Or will we finally see Tucker?

ETA: neither

This team is dead meat. It's not the losing. It's the not caring.
