They are fun for a weekend play vehicle but they are loud and ride like shite. Would not use for a daily commute.

Indeed. Anybody that doesn't should be executed by police on the spot.

Well being that the job of the police is to enforce the law and they had information that the person driving the vehicle was likely a criminal, it makes sense.

I would be beyond pissed if I were him.

I too have been mistaken for a criminal by cops and been treated in a very aggressive manner. I thought I was the only white male that ever had this experience.

How? It was an escalated situation because his car was "similar" to the one cops were looking for and because his license plate came back as reported stolen. The latter could be avoided if the very police force that returned his vehicle to him marked it as no longer stolen.

It is a bad take, no reason to be pissed at the officers doing their job. His vehicle was similar to another vehicle in another incident and THEN came up stolen when they ran the plates. He could be perturbed by that fact but he was never treated like a criminal as the cops performed their job as expected. He had a minor inconvenience of being stopped. No reason to be "pissed" about anything over that.

That's not what I said.

I would be pissed at the guy who didn't take my previously stolen car out of the database.

quote:

Driver turn off your car and put your hands up! Put your hands out the window,” a Darien police officer is heard yelling on the video, which captures the cop with his gun pointed in Cashman’s direction.

The footage shows Cashman -- in a dark T-shirt, white shorts and flip-flops -- exiting his vehicle with his hands in the air. He subsequently makes his way, backwards, following command, toward the officers.

That's almost a textbook definition of being treated like a suspected criminal. They did this because they thought he was the guy who committed that crime and was the guy who stole the car. Like you said, it was cops doing their job.

I never read what you said, just the part that was quoted by someone else of what you said. Still, see no reason to be pissed about something that minor.
