Newsradio is woefully underappreciated. Any other fans?

All star cast.
Joe Rogan
Steven Root
Maura Tierney
Phil Hartman
Dave Foley
Andy Dick
Jon Lovitz
It’s dated and hard to find (I found a couple seasons streaming on crackle) but good comedy.
Kind of lost some chutzpah after Phil Hartman got murdered but still worth a watch.
Anyone know where I can find it streaming?

I have local copies.
It was my favorite "currently airing" show at the time Phil was murdered. I think Hartman was the only established name at the time the show came on. Nobody knew Rogan, Foley, Tierney or Dick before that and few knew Root.
I think it was in the same key as Archer - that kind of workplace humor. I thought the writing and acting were spot on, but obviously Hartman held the show together.
The show felt like a spiritual successor to WKRP, another underappreciated show, IMHO.
frick you, Andy Dick.

Watched it when it was on back in the day. Sadly, the show died when Phil Hartman passed.
Oh and Maura Tierney

Don't forget the great Patrick Warburton.

Still awesome 20 years later.

Is it just me or does anybody not remember Joe Rogan's acting career at all? Before he became a MMA commentator, and podcast host, I just knew Rogan as the host of Fear Factor. Had no idea he was ever an actor.

One of my favorite TV moments...Jimmy James' book reading where his book was translated from English, to Japanese, back to English.
Macho Business Donkey Wrestler
Super Karate Monkey Death Car
ETA...while I loved all of the characters...Jimmy James is, to this day, one of the funniest characters ever written.

The first few seasons with Phil Hartman was easily up there with Seinfeld as best sitcom of the 90s. Stephen Root is such a great actor in all these small roles he does. Been a fan of his since this show.

Absolutely loved that show.

I loved this show when it came on. I watched it when it originally aired, but never really caught the reruns (like with Seinfeld or Friends), so I bet if I did a rewatch now it would almost be like watching it anew.
Is it on any of the steaming services?

Love this show. I think Phil Hartman is the most effortlessly hilarious guy I've ever seen. I can't help just smiling whenever I see or hear him. Absolute tragedy, what happened to him.

One of my favorite shows. Loved the episode where Jimmy James had his biography ghostwritten and contracted out to an Asian because it was cheaper to have it written in Chinese and then translated back into English. The excerpt he read aloud sounded just like you would think. LOL

For some reason I thought Nestor Carbonell was on this show.

Can't believe no one has mentioned the Season 3 finale episode yet.
Entitled "Space", I'll let our friends at IMDB describe it for you:

The gang shows us what a space episode would be like. Matthew dates a porn star robot. Bill goes for a space walk and gets locked outside. Joe accidentally sets off the self destruct system and everybody is forced into hypersleep. Matthew accidentally kicks the cord and shuts down their life support. Bill and Matthew repopulate humanity in the lab.

I would love to watch this show. I tried several different ways to stream (both legal & illegal) and couldn't find it.

The African American woman in the pic is Khandi Alexander, of ER, CSI:Miami, Treme, and Scandal.
Would have never remembered that she was in Newsradio without seeing that.
Dave Foley, who was supposed to be the lead character on the show, is probably one of the 2 least famous people in that photo now.

Just a great show. The first four seasons are some of my favorite things to re-watch when the itch strikes.
If anyone is searching for a few gem check out any of the following:"Rat Funeral," "Xmas Story," "Coda," "Complaint Box," "The Real Deal," "The Public Domain," "Super Karate Monkey Death Car," or "Security Door."
Talk about a cast that just fit together perfectly. I never much cared for Lauren Graham or Wharburton when they came in; but the show still put out some of its funniest stuff during that time.
If you can located the DVDs, I highly recommend purchasing. There are a bunch of different cast commentaries that just show how well the cast still kind of meshes together.
According to Rogan, Dave Foley deserves even more credit than he gets for his role on the show. He would often just rewrite entire scenes prior to filming.
Great, great show.
