Lots of CT criticism this season. The thing is, he played everything perfectly. He didn't even sniff an elimination, basically ran the UK side of things, and now has a strong team going into the finals. The only thing that could have went better was still having Joss there with them.

I wish CT had gone the other way when he absolutely had to pick a side, but he obviously picked the right side for him and stuck with it as long as he needed to.

Also thought it was really funny that Paulie was talking all about how he never went into an elimination.

That stood out to me as well. He picked up real fast how the game really works. Smarter, not harder. Had Leroy not switched up his game and switched to Paulie's alliance, he would have been gone already. And while Zach isn't, he made an effort to not start drama and go with the flow all year long.

I also think people fear Zach in an elimination as well. He has rebounded from a year or two ago when he basically sucked at the challenges and eliminations. He looks more in shape and healthy than he has in the last several seasons. So nobody was gonna go in against him really. And the closer to the end it got, they wouldn't want to throw him in because they know he'd switch and make the UK that much stronger.

Nobody wanted to go up against Zach or CT... so they basically kept their name out of the mix on reputation alone. CT at first especially... it would have been easy for the UK to throw him in, but none of them wanted to potentially face him.

Part one of the final was better than I ever could’ve hoped for. Plus the fact that they carried the bags individually and will get an additional penalty. UK penalty was bullshite since they only did it because the US team was blocking them.
I hope the 4 person team isn’t solely based on a puzzle. I’d like to see it go to a vote where they just say frick you Cara (and Paulie if he survives)

Some of them they legit didn’t even have to look at the board. “Add up all the 8s and divide by 2”. Just put up all the multiples of 4 until they say you’re good.

Remember, Paulie burned out on the pre-final challenge last year too.its obvious he's good at daily challenges, but if gets put Into extended stress, he's done.
He's obviously heat strojing/dehydrated... AND IT'S glorious.
Just think, that team could have had Jordan, Tori, John, Laurel, Wes, and Zach on it if they ha played their cards right. What an epic disaster.
I was trying to analyze whose screams this were in the final preview clip when TJ said they won.
It kind of sounded like Dee, but it also kind of sounded like Kam and Ashley...just couldn't tell. Sounded like one deeper voices girl and one higher pitched.
Hope the brits win, but that stupid shoove by CT could easily cost them. It was so unnecessary... He already had them passed. But his true bully colors came out in that one moment.
Also, I figure the Americans are going to get docked time as well becaue TJ specifically stated that they had to carry all bags on tbe plank.

So only 8 people make it to the second stage. That means 3 from Team USA and 1 from Team UK are gone.
I bet Paulie and Cara are two from the US. Paulie looks like Georgia last season. The third person eliminated is probably Ninja, Kam, or Ashley. Leroy and Zach look good.
From the UK, it might be CT since he is responsible for a 10 minute penalty. That would be such a boneheaded way to go.

Also the producers are morons. They punish the team with more finalists who have won 10 of 13 daily challenges by making them carry 75 percent more weight. What the hell kind of reasoning is that?

agreed, thought that was ridiculous as well. The reward should have been having more people to rotate but be carrying the same weight.
As for Paulie, his problem is he goes 100 miles an hour all the time and doesn't know how to pace himself for events that require endurance. When TJ tells you you're going to go 16 miles carrying 20 lbs per person on an unstable crate tied held together by bamboo, it's probably smart to relax. It also doesn't help how small he is and him not taking any breaks the first leg when he was gassed. Not that i care because him and Cara completely shitting the bed is just perfect.

It looks like the winner will not be based on cumulative time, but who finishes the last leg first which I hate.
