Do you ever feel that the best days of your life are behind you. Life after LSU just feels gray.

No. College was fun, but I’m 26, in better shape than I was 4 years ago, no kids, and get my first big boy check tomorrow after finishing grad school. Can’t wait to start traveling. Plus I still get hammered for LSU games

The best of my life were definitely when I got my first real 6 string.

I have thought this several times in my life but something new pops up and makes me happy again.
Now I'm glad I'm done with those times in my life. Better things are ahead.
I'm only 31 though.

Sure. Girls, parties, little real responsibility, it was the best.
But then I remember that all happened while I spent 3 years sleeping on a shitty futon in a should-have-been-condemned part of a fraternity house without any money in a constantly dehydrated state intermixed with random acts of stupidity that absolutely could have killed me or ruined my future
So it's kind of a wash

it's not. your financial independence is way cooler than college. though you will never have as easy access to attractive and rich girls. also bar tabs are a lot more expensive.

43 yrs old.
Best before 18:
Summer 91 working as life guard at Blue Bayou and Sega Genesis came out. Finger banging chicks, getting tan, and playing video games.
Best after 18:
Spring 98 to Spring 99 last LSU Rugby Season and on to graduation.
Best as a real live adult:
