Why do some people that work out think it’s the most important thing in the world? You can’t just go exercise without making a point that other people don’t do what you do?

Found the spiteful, fat mouth-breather.

False narrative. I’ve got two young kids and exercise 4 times a week with no problem. It is about how you want to spend your down time. We choose to exercise instead of having time to watch an extra hour of Netflix when kids are in bed for example.

Reading comprehension isn't your strong point, is it? The point is that all of our premiums and taxes are higher, not that I am paying an one person's care out of my pocket.

It can get tough with job, family responsibilities, etc. It takes some motivation, and a lot of guys don't have it. A younger guy has a built in incentive to look good to try to attract women. Once he's married and his wife seems okay with how he looks, that incentive goes away. I actually enjoy working out, so I make time to do it. If it wasn't recreational for me, I'd be one of those guys who never exercises.

This is why I work out early in the morning. I get to the gym at 5:30 AM, work out until 6:30 then grab a shower and I’m on my way to the office by 6:45 AM.

That usually ends with me throwing up. Just not a morning person. My metabolism is slow getting started.
