You are such a fricking idiot. Either an awful troll or I feel bad for the people that have to endure you on a daily basis.

It's a simple but effective formula:
Wait for an important decision to be made.
Notice the universal praise being heaped on the LSU admins.
Declare your opposition and watch the downvotes rain down.

Maybe it’s because the institution of higher learning sucks at budgeting and is run by a bunch of clowns?

I don't disagree. But, everyone here acts as if the football team doesn't also derive a great benefit from LSU - including the use of the Tiger trademark.

ETA: I'm not against the football team or the TAF's large contribution to LSU sports. I am sure that, like every other government functionary in La., there is enough waste in the general budget that many of LSU's needs could be met if waste and shiftiness are eliminated.

This was simply poorly timed, given the ongoing media controversy about the extravagant locker room.

Yeah because that trademark would have a ton of value without the athletic department?

I've thought maybe you are just a contrarian (which you are), but its also pretty clear that you're an idiot.

Go find Texas Southern’s forums, that’s where Johnny coaches now... no point for you to post on here any longer

LSU is supposedly an institute of higher learning before it is a promoter of sports teams.

What other school has an arrangement like this? Even Alabama has student fees for athletics. LSU not only taking nothing at all from the academic end but giving back tens of millions of dollars annually is unheard of.

The perceived power of the TAF needs to be reined in hard.

The perceived power to get LSU competing on a level playing field? That's really that bananas?
