Charles Hanniagriff thinks the freshman John Emery Jr. will be that player, he thinks Emery will be the one who surprises many of us by having a major impact for the LSU offense. Not a bad pick Charles. My pick is freshman Derek Stingley whose impact will be numerous interceptions in the secondary and the positive field position changes from his long punt returns. The 2019 Tigers are loaded, you could also pick Chaisson, there are so many to choose from. With Delpit also in the secondary makes you wonder how teams will ever score in the air on LSU.

Chris Curry played larger than his size this in the spring, I agree he looks ready to play against the SEC.

I’ll take two that people may not think of over the obvious guys (Jacoby Stevens, Stingley, Emery, Ika). Jacob Phillips and Saahdiq Charles. I believe Phillips is going to have an all American type season with Devin White gone. He’s already a much better LB than Dylan Moses who would be playing in Phillips spot right now had he come to LSU. This year he gets his recognition. I am convinced Saahdiq Charles is going to be one of the hero’s of the season by stepping up and improving his play at LT. From his workout videos he looks to be down around 290lbs but he’s sure not lacking any strength. Hopefully leaning up will help him out with the speed rushers that gave him problems last year.

I like Emery. Excited to see how Joe Brady uses him after learning some ways of how to use an elusive RB out of the backfield in New Orleans

Certainly hoping that it will be Terrace Marshall. If he comes alive like I know he's capable of, alongside Jefferson and Chase, we have the potential to field the top receiving corps in the country for years to come. All reports are that he's back to 100% and ready to tear some shite up.

I think that was Hannagriff’s point, Emery being an impact player like Kamara, can you imagine if that’s true LSU’s in the playoffs.

Dee Anderson. He’s always shown flashes but I think he will put it all together

Trey Palmer will be a deep threat that takes the top off of a defense

So you’re picking LSU starting quarterback who has been touted as the best defensive back since Pat Pete as your surprise?

The only way he can be a surprise is if he wins the Thrope Award next year...

Stingly and Ika are surprising no one. Deculus will be the biggest surprise. He will nail down right tackle and play at a high level. Terrace Marshal will be the next big surprise.

How would that be a surprise? Many folks think he will wreck shop.

Sullivan could be big at tight end in the Brady scheme. Saints TE's were utilized often. He is a match up problem for sure in the right sets. JMHO

When is the last time anyone could name this many impact players on an LSU football team? Linebackers, DB’s secondary, Dline, WR’s, QB, RB? Never!

Was thinking the same. Could also go with Pettigrew... freak TE... way better than Moreau... looked great in last two spring games. Dee Anderson could be so friggen good. Him and Sullivan... nightmare matchups all around those three...
