If a player transfers through the portal just because he wants to and no coaching changes were made, does if still have to sit out a year if he goes to a FBS school, or another team in the same conference, as the old rules stated?
If not, then what’s to stop other FBS schools from luring kids that have established themselves (not in this case) as blue chips players.

I usually agree. I had no problems with McMillan or Narcisse or Giles transferring.
I have a problem with a guy who just absolutely has to have drama surround him.
He’s been doing this since he was in high school and people are sick of it. Make a fricking decision and stick to it like a man already.
