Police Search for 13 Year Old Gunman
quote:
DALLAS - Dallas police are searching for the 13-year-old gunman who they say fired into a vehicle, killing a 15-year-old and injuring another teen.
The shooting happened just before 11:30 a.m., when officers were called to the 600 block of N. Denley Dr., in a neighborhood in East Oak Cliff known as "The Bottom."
Police say a brown Dodge Caravan pulled up, and that's when a suspect, described by a witness as 13-year-old boy, got out, and shot into Ford. It’s unclear if that witness was estimating the age, or if he and the teenage victim knew the shooter.
According to police, the shooter then got back into the Caravan, which was occupied by another 13-year-old and a 20-year-old, and they drove away.

He’ll get out when he’s 18 then kill someone else

I’m more triggered that the news organization just went and assumed his gender.

There’s only one real “The Bottom” and it lies on Highland Road in BR, not Dallas of all places.

I'll put the Bottoms in Shreveport aka Ledbetter Heights up against any Bottoms in America

Well it's pretty obvious the person who described the occupants of the Caravan is a witness....

I think parts of it are. My cousin has renovated an historic home in Oak Cliff.

Yes, but how else could we describe this juvenile criminal who is armed and dangerous?

East Oak Cliff was never part of what was originally Oak Cliff. Generally everything south of the Trinity River gets called Oak Cliff though it isn't.
