People who don't believe in climate change are in the business of climate change

The climate historically always changes. It always has. Libtards just want to blame man for it

You think the people who are pushing climate change, regulations, taxes aren’t “in the business of
climate change”?
Also, wrong board—take your blind link back to
Democratic underground

I really think this is how some of the true believers of man made climate change I’ve encountered picture the supposed fat cats and people causing it

Progs smelling their own farts is a major contributing factor.

Go to China with that crap.

Every decade has a fear. Growing up in the 90s it was the ozone layer. We were told it would go away and Temps would rise.
Movies were made parodying it, even Robocop had the sunblock 2000 gag in a in movie commercial.
Then no one talked about it any more. The 2000s came and Inconvenient Truth came out and Climate Change was the big fear.
Nuclear War was the fear of the 80s, I think Global cooling in the 70s.
I say continue the status quo. Let the milleniums (generation after Millenials) deal with it.

India and China have no desire to reduce carbon outputs. Liberals have no desire to switch our grid to nuclear.
Until those two things occur, the handwringing over Climate Change is just that.

They also believe that throwing money at Mother Nature will make a difference. The politicians don’t believe it, they just want the money but the retards willing to hand it over do. The earths climate has changed since the beginning and nothing can be done about it. Hell there was a little ice age in the 1800s.

One of the major issues with climate change is the evolution of these major metropolitan areas (NY, LA, Houston) that pump tremendous amounts of carbon into the atmosphere in one small geographic area and with little vegetation to outset it.
But you will never hear someone on the left address it.
And we haven’t even talked about the best and most necessary solution ... global population control.

This thread belongs on the political board.
Or the Money board.
It doesn't belong on the OT board.

Posted on 7/20/19 at 8:36 am to Meaux Bettah
How about you stop starting stupid threads on the OT and take this crap to the politard board?

I don't know why anyone would listen to a psychologist opine on climate change, other than AGW is as bogus as their own medical specialty. Birds of a feather flock together, I guess

I believe in the possibility of climate change. Fortunately, there are two emergent technologies that promise to mitigate many of the effects of climate change, in ways that are more economical than the CO2-based methods many scientists advocate.
The first of these leverages the silicate / biomass substrate that has accumulated voluminously near ground level in most locales. Scientists and policymakers are slowly becoming aware of an astonishing fact: strategically accumulating this silicate / biomass material into formations on the periphery of areas seen as too valuable to be abandoned to rising sea levels can preserve them indefinitely.
The second technology involves a lightweight, durable solid sheet placed approximately parallel to the Earth's surface at an altitude between 8' and 10' above it. More vertical human development can be facilitated by creating a matrix of stacked instances of this novel construction feature. Amazingly, a sufficiently non-porous solid erected in this manner almost completely blocks the deadly new radiation associated with climate change.

Climate changes are cyclical. Are they advancing because of man, yes. It's it as alarming as liberals want you to think, not at all.

lol at climate change "denial"
Only legit retards deny that the climate is changing and that the earth is warming.
The only thing I deny is that I need to pay more taxes because of it. Never mind that India and China don't give a frick

I remember that. That boondoggle started in the 80s. Liberals wanted to ban all aerosol cans to “save the world”.
Idiots.
