The racial make up of panhandlers.

I never see black folks panhandling with their cardboard signs and shite. I wonder why that is?

There are 5.7 white people for every black person in the US (or pretty close to that ratio). Obviously you will see more white panhandlers.

I live in Dallas, where there are tons of hispanics... never seen a hispanic beggar though. All black and white.

I definitely see either super fat white girls, or meth skinny white baws most.
However, there is this one black dude at the nearest intersection of the highway to my house that I saw who was rocked up and had a sign that said he was just released from jail and needed a job. I stopped and gave him my business card (work in construction) and he told me he’d call and I never heard from him. I still see him begging for cash daily and it pisses me off.

Yeah it kind of depends on the area. I see more of a mixed crew on Bluebonnet, Coursey, Siegen etc.

Same here. Live in a predominantly Hispanic city and I've never seen one myself. Their version of panhandling is selling flowers by the on ramps

The people on Bluebonnet and Siegen are almost exclusively white.

It's pretty split in Nola; there are plenty of black panhandlers. Poverty doesn't discriminate.

Fair enough but alot of these folks are transient and where I live (the northshore) you only see white folks.
