This part cracks me up.
Yeah man, bars and festivals are just littered with people that are exhausted from their own dogs and desperate to find relief.
I have never once thought "man, I really need a break from my dog". Now, my wife and I say that all the time about our 10 month old

The free market has been forced to allow dogs because of complaints by dog owners. If you can’t enter an establishment, especially one that serves consumables, without your pet, just stay home. It just shows a lack of respect for those of us trying to enjoy the company of other human beings.

This is worded incorrectly.
The free market has adjusted to meet demand from the public to allow dogs in establishments because more and more people request it/desire it.
There are several bars in my neighborhood that have become dog friendly now because 1 bar did it and started getting a lot more business, especially on weekends during the day.

You can just not go to those places if you don't like it. Those establishments have welcomed it, so just don't go there

Ah, the ole “but children can be annoying!” retort. A common go-to for those 30 somethings who have no children and pretend like their dog is their child and their mother is the dog’s grandma. So immature and sad. The fact that you even bring children in as a comparison shows how much growing up you have to do. One day maybe you will grow up and realize how deluded you were into putting dogs on pedestals and viewing children as just annoying inconveniences.

I have never owned a Pit Bull and never will. My Border Collie, now deceased, had been a lot of places, including our local courthouse. Even people who were scared of dogs loved her. She also behaved better than most kids (and loved kids).

Considering children are allowed at breweries and brew pubs and some have inflatables for kids to play, yeah you can compare.

I have a kid and a dog, I know the difference.
My kid is much harder to deal with in public than my dog, who just lays under my feet.
I don't complain about either, though.
