Expectations for football are so high it's damn near ruining my pre-season hypeness.

What does this even mean? So you would rather LSU be projected to go 7-5 and be a fringe preseason top 25 team?

Try this...

Get really excited about LSU football now, like everybody else.

Then when basketball season rolls around, get really excited about basketball.

IM 100% most Hyped for LSU Football. But Pelicans Basketball second, Saints 3rd, then LSU Basketball and then Baseball. But thats a pretty dope problem to have. The 3 main sports for our college all have a bright present and future along with Pelicans and Saints. Only one with an uncertain future as far as relevancy goes would be the Saints. But hopefully Bridgewater turns back into his old form with the vikings rather than just a Bridge quarterback... see what i did there?

Right? We complain when we are given no love or not enough going into the season, then complain we are being to hyped and talked about as if its a Jinx. They either gonna go out there and Kick A** as expected which is the expectation or they will have a solid but unspectacular season as weve had since 2011. I dont know why you wouldnt want your school to be talked about Nationally! I believe Football, basketball, Baseball, Saints, and Pelicans all make playoff this year. Lsu football being the biggest stretch though.

The football hype will likely end up as the old adage says "big hype yields big disappointment."

Loooolz

Even looking past the remarkable fact that LSU under Wade won the SEC in his 2nd year, 2 years removed from the team winning 2 SEC games, there are 351 teams in division 1 college basketball and LSU was among the 16 best. There are 130 FBS football teams. I'll just leave it at that.

I agree with you to a point, root for all sports at LSU. However, the SECOND a sport other than fb or men's hoops takes a PENNY from fb or men's hoops that is needed for those 2 to maximize their success, I have a major problem

I disagree with portions of Title IX too.

I’m excited about all our major Louisiana teams. Just most excited about football because college football is the best sport in the world imo.

I enjoy basketball, but I will never understand how anyone can enjoy any sport more than football.
