I drive a 2014 Outback. It’s slow but I can’t justify getting rid of it.

It’s very sturdy, practical, and is a beast in the snow. We’ll probably end up keeping it a long time.

Other than having to add a quart of oil every few thousand miles, we haven’t had any issues. The WRX has a different engine so the lack of power and oil consumption probably isn’t going to be a problem.

I recently purchased an Ascent LTD. It's early yet, but this may be the best vehicle I've ever driven.

Our Outback has been great. I feel like see more men driving them than womens.

They are everywhere now.

It's small as shite, and not great performance for a "rally car". I'd dust that thing in my 2011 M37x and I can fit 3 sets of golf clubs in the trunk with room to spare.

No, you would not dust a WRX in an M37X. I can promise you that.

An STI would smoke a M37X in a straight line and a road course BUT a standard WRX is slower in a straight line. I would be hesitant to buy a current WRX without some investigation into what they have done to stop the ringland failures. I don't think they infect the current cars but it would be something I would look into especially on the Subaru forums prior to purchase.

I can’t. It’s a smart purchase.

I'm not gonna defend them completely on this, but I can tell you many of these "failures" are because people stupidly slap aftermarket parts on these cars, and don't properly tune them.

A perfectly stock engine properly kept up with should last you a very long time.
