Our trade assets will be better. PG and Kawhi are younger and actually have a team surrounding them. Lakers are fricked.

I dunno. It’s 4 unprotected, two picks swaps, and one unprotected. You have to imagine that a later pick is going to be a good pick when Leonard and PG are in their mid 30’s.
I do like this clipper team. Beverly, PG, and Leonard with Doc coaching them is legit.

We definitely have good assets thanks to the Lakers.

They also have a sharp shooter in Shamet, and a professional bucket getter in Sweet Lou.
Oh and also the best energy guy in the NBA in Montrezl Harrel. STacked.

OKC acquired THREE unprotected first-round picks from the Clippers in this trade (2022, 2024 and 2026), league sources say, PLUS two firsts from Miami (2021 unprotected and 2023 protected 1-to-14) ... AND the right to swap picks with the Clips in 2023 and 2025. Staggering

Don't forget that the Thunder will also acquire Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Danilo Gallinari n the trade along with all of those draft assets ... because Oklahoma City was essentially trading Paul George AND Kawhi Leonard to the Clippers

Those picks from 2024-2026 are going to be nice after Kawhi and PG are in their mid to late 30’s. That’s a good deal with SGA as your future foundation.

Agreed those guys won’t be around then more than likely. Clippers aren’t exactly know for long term success

OKC should go ahead and get a king's ransom for Westbrook and completely go for a rebuild
Posted on 7/6/19 at 2:12 am to hsfolk
Really don’t think they’ll get more for Westbrook than what they did for PG.

I doubt it too. Russ just has his name recognition. I legit wouldn’t trade any major pieces or assets for him.

Agreed. It’s going to be tough to find a suitor or he may wanna help the rebuild and trade Adams away.

Westbrook ain't getting a king's ransom lol
Posted on 7/6/19 at 2:14 am to jamal
Yeah I think OKC is gonna have a tough time trading him. At least for assets they’d really want

The team is run by Jerry West. Go look at his track record. Those picks won’t be in the lottery
