Anyone tried to discuss politics on r/politics?

It doesn't matter how thoughtful or measured your posts are, if they detect even a smidgen of non-leftist thinking, they downvote you so fast your account is throttled (have to wait 9 minutes in between posts).

I’ve had many accounts banned there but my most recent account has been able to last for a few months

I'm not a masochist, so no. There are good subs on reddit but none are popular.

I dunno man, r/gonewild and r/biggerthanyouthought are pretty damn popular.
In case anyone needs it spelled out, reddit is only good for amateur porn. Other than that it's hive mentality or bust.

I like /r/new_right, /r/Dark_Enlightment, /r/Anarcho_Capitalism, and due to being a sick frick, /r/WTF. There are probably some Christian subs that are decent, but I can find that content elsewhere.
